The end is near

Countless apocalyptic prophecies have been made throughout the course of history, each with its own bandwagon of followers. But nothing can compare to the magnitude of the 2012 phenomenon and those in preparation for its arrival.

The end of the world as we know it

With John Cusack’s upcoming movie, yet another entry to the already abundant amount of 2012-related media, it’s time we take a step back and carefully look at why some are looking to Dec. 21, 2012, as “the end of the world as we know it.” Whether their belief rests on the astronomical calculations of the Maya, or on the quatrains of Nostradamus, anticipation is high that our world will see a catastrophic end in 2012.

Well, if you don’t, you should still check out Wolfmother’s latest disc, the first offering since the Aussie band’s 2005 major label, self-titled debut. They’re those guys who sang “Woman,” on a Guitar Hero II game near you.

Data Center to be dedicated Thursday

H1N1 found in Ind. pigs

Coaches balance RPIs, rankings to make schedules
