Robber pistol-whips victim

At 12:24 a.m. Monday, Bloomington police responded to a robbery at 308 E. 12th St.

According to a Bloomington Police report, two subjects wearing ski masks entered the residence.

The robbers forced the seven victims, five of whom were between the ages of 19 and 26, into a bathroom.

Both intruders had handguns, and one pistol-whipped a victim on the ear, according to the report.

“Wallets containing cash and IDs, cell phones, iPods, a backpack and a calculator were among the items stolen,” according to the report.

Sgt. Jeff Canada of the Bloomington Police Department urges anyone who might have information to call the BPD at 812-339-4477.
