This from her opening statement at the postgame press conference: "What a year. We certainly had bigger plans than this in our second year here.
Hey folks, We're awaiting our last postgame presser of the year, so I'll go ahead and throw some thoughts up on the blog for your reading pleasure. -Tamera Young and Dawn Evans were just unstoppable tonight.
We're ready for second half action here at Assembly Hall. The Hoosier lead by three at the half, 34-31. 15:20 to play: IU leads 41-39 Three Hoosiers are in double figures now--Amber Jackson, Whitney Thomas, and Jori Davis.
I'm here at Assembly Hall with yours truly, Zach Osterman. The same Zach Osterman whose Sigma Alpha Mu team tuned in a first place performance at Little 500 Qualifications today (he does it all). The Hoosiers host the James Madison Dukes in second round WNIT action.
The highlight of the press conference was a five-minute speech from Dan Dakich when he was asked why he thought he should be made permanent coach. "Q.
IU will have Dan Dakich, Armon Bassett and Lance Stemler speaking at the mic. Apparently, D.J. White is receiving an IV and "will likely not be available to the media." Do my job for me, what should I ask these guys?
The Hoosiers and Razorbacks are on the court, warming-up for the final game today in Raleigh. Per NCAA rules, we can only update the blog 5 times per half. Final minute predictions?
And just like that, the NCAA tournament is over for the Hoosiers. Arkansas wins 86-72. Now the season is over, all that remain are questions surrounding the program.
Stephen Curry is incredible. Roy Hibbert is tall. IU game in approx. 3.5 hours, who's your pick?
One interesting tidbit before all eyes are turned to tonight's IU-Arkansas contest: former IU shooting guard Joey Shaw has committed to Nevada.
Players were available to the media Thursday to talk about Friday's game against Arkansas. Here is what they had to say: Lance Stemler "When the brackets first came out, I think that's what everyone looked at (possibly playing UNC). I think the coaches have done a good job keeping us focused on Arkansas." "We don't have much time left.
That's it for practice. Nothing really noteworthy, to be honest. It really seemed like more of a practice than a show.

Hey folks, We have below these words another IU Athletics press release, but here are some important highlights: -Saturday's game against a TBD opponent will be at 7:05 p.m.
To those living in Southern Indiana it probably comes as no surprise that today's scheduled contest between the Hoosiers and the Evansville Purple Aces has been rained out (I figured as much when I rafted into the newsroom this morning). No make-up game has been scheduled yet, so IU's attempt at their first three-game winning streak this season will come Saturday in their home-opener against the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Mastodons (an extinct cousin of the elephant). Look for a preview of that matchup in the IDS on Friday, but check back into the blog for any updates.
Courtesy of our friends at the athletic department: BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head coach Bill Lynch announced Damarlo Belcher has signed a National Letter of Intent and will attend Indiana University in the fall of 2008. Belcher, a wide receiver from North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., stands at 6-5 and weighs 210 pounds.
Adam Zagoria is reporting on his blog that IU will indeed release its 5-star recruit Devin Ebanks from his Letter of Intent.
