That's it for the press conferences. Next up, open practice. Stay tuned...

Dakich said he doesn't believe he will talk to Gordon about his NBA future, mainly because he does not believe he has the expertise necessary to provide the best advice.

---

On the team's mindset:

"I have had no problem with their mindframe going into games. They've prepared, they've put themselves in positions to win every basketball game I've been a coach of. Twenty-five seconds here or there is the difference between 5-1 and 3-3."

That's it for the players, next up: Dan Dakich

About getting over the Minnesota loss:

D.J. "That's the second-time this year we lost on a buzzer-beater shot. It hurts."

Bassett: "Any time you lose, you want to get that bad taste out your mouth."

---

D.J. says the team has tried to block out negative press and criticism about the team's attitude. "We're going to try hard everytime we go on the court. I know some things have gone off slow when we go on the court."

---

The players are getting a lot of questions about the adjustments they've made from the switch from Sampson to Dakich.

Bassett says the biggest difference is "just getting used to not having Coach Sampson around. It's not anything against coach Dakich."

D.J. says he hopes to use the tournament to redefine a challenging season. "We still have a chance to do something special. We'll start tomorrow night."

Bassett adds: "The postseason's always a new beginning."

---

The guys say they are looking forward to playing a team who is faster and runs up and down the court. They say that should be a little more exciting than their Big Ten opponents, who grind it out.

---

D.J. White on Arkansas

"We found out this is a team that loves to get up and down the court. They're very big up front. We're going to try to come in and execute our game plan."

---

Eric Gordon, D.J. White and Armon Bassett will be speaking at the mic shortly. Thanks for sending your questions, I'll try to get as many as possible answered.
