Oladipo, Zeller named to All-Big Ten 1st team

Though Michigan's Trey Burke ultimately won out in a much-publicized race for Big Ten Player of the Year against junior guard Victor Oladipo, IU was nonetheless well-represented in the conference awards announced Monday evening. Oladipo and sophomore forward Cody Zeller were both named First Team All-Big Ten.

IU drops to No. 3 in AP poll

IU dropped one spot in Monday's AP poll to No. 3, but still leads a herd of four Big Ten teams in the top 10. Even with a loss to IU Sunday, Michigan rose to No.

Zeller named Big Ten co-Player of the Week

For the third time this season, sophomore forward Cody Zeller has earned Big Ten player of the week, the conference announced Monday morning in a press release. This week, he shared the honor with Ohio State's Aaron Craft. Zeller is now tied with Michigan's Trey Burke for the most weekly honors this season. Zeller averaged 21 points in games against Michigan and Ohio State this week, including 25 Sunday against the Wolverines to clinch the outright conference title.

Oladipo, Zeller named Sporting News All-Americans

Junior guard Victor Oladipo was named a Sporting News first team All-American Monday afternoon while his teammate, sophomore forward Cody Zeller, is on the third team. Oladipo is joined on the first team by Michigan's Trey Burke, considered his prime competition for Big Ten player of the year awards.

Five Hoosiers see it to day two

After the first day of the Big Ten Championships for wrestling, five Hoosiers are still in the running for a spot in the NCAA Championships. Sophomore Joe Duca was the first Hoosier to kick off Session II, with a 6-2 decision over Northwestern's Dom Malone.
