After taking a break from a grueling schedule last weekend when it played four Division-III teams, the No. 11 IU water polo team will get back to the grind this weekend with three matches against top-13 teams.

On Friday, IU will partake in the Lancer Invite in Riverside, Calif. The Hoosiers will face Cal-Baptist at 2:40 p.m. and Wagner at 9:20 p.m. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, IU will travel to San Diego for the Aztec Invitational for a loaded schedule. The Hoosiers will face No. 8 Hawaii at 2:45 p.m. and No. 7 San Diego State at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and UC San Diego at 11:30 a.m. and No. 13 Cal State Northridge at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The weekend will feature three rematches for IU. The Hoosiers have already faced Wagner, Hawaii and San Diego State in the 2013 season. IU beat Wagner 15-12 back on Feb. 17 and fell to Hawaii 14-6 on Feb. 2 and San Diego State 11-5 on Jan. 20.

Senior attacker Jakie Koehli has an opportunity to keep moving up in IU's record book. She started out the season at 180 career goals, good for fifth-best all time for an IU player. Since then, she has passed Nicole Redder (182 goals) and Brooke Zimmerman (206) en route to 212 career scores. Koehli is 12 behind second-place Krista Peterson's 224 and 34 behind all-time leader Kristin Stanford's 246.

Junior attacker Shae Fournier has also passed Redder on that list and sits at 187 career scores.

This weekend's games will be IU's last nonconference ones of the season. The Hoosiers will play Notre Dame (OH), Gannon and Michigan to close out the regular season before the CWPA Western Division Championships and Eastern Conference Championships begin on April 13 and April 26, respectively. If IU wins the Eastern Championship, the team will move on to the NCAA Championships on May 10.
