The return of redshirt freshman forward Sasha Chaplin was not enough for the IU women's basketball team. Foul trouble plagued Chaplin and the Hoosiers (13-12, 6-8) in a 66-58 road loss to Wisconsin Sunday. Fouls were a problem for both teams.

IU football offensive line coach Bobby Johnson is leaving his position to take the assistant offensive line coach job with the NFL's Buffalo Bills, a source close to the situation confirmed. Johnson has not signed a contract with Buffalo yet, but IU has released him from his contract with the University. This coming from the Associated Press: FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- A judge has made a preliminary not guilty plea for a former Indiana University basketball player charged in connection with an ex-business partner's multimillion-dollar fraud scheme. The plea was entered for 39-year-old Todd Leary of Carmel during an Allen County court hearing Tuesday. Advertisement Leary's attorney, Ginny Maxwell, said today it was too early in court proceedings to comment on the allegations against him. Prosecutors say Leary once worked for a title insurance broker who pleaded guilty to several charges in a $2.7 million scheme and that Leary conspired to divert more than $1 million from the partner's title company in Fort Wayne. Leary played for Indiana during 1989-94 and had been an analyst for IU's radio broadcasts for several years.
Earlier today, USA Basketball revealed the names of the 27 players who will make up the 2010-2012 USA Men's National Team. The list includes 11 members of the 2008 Gold Medal team such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony. New to the roster, among others, are five second-year NBA players including former IU guard Eric Gordon.
