Indiana men’s soccer released its 2026 schedule Wednesday, per a press release from Indiana Athletics. The Hoosiers will open the regular season against Notre Dame on Aug. 20 at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington.

Nine of Indiana’s 18 regular season opponents finished top 60 in the 2025 RPI rankings, and seven appeared in last year’s NCAA Tournament.

Indiana finished last season 5-5-0 in Big Ten play, the fifth-best record in the conference. The Hoosiers will play Maryland (Oct. 2) and Washington (Sept. 18) at home this season, the best and second-best teams, respectively, against Big Ten opponents last season. Third-place Michigan (Sept. 11) and fourth-place UCLA (Oct. 30) will both be away matches for the Hoosiers.

In the nonconference schedule, Indiana will rematch 2025 opponents, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Kentucky. This season, both games will be played in Bloomington. The Hoosiers defeated the Fighting Irish 1-0 and won against the Wildcats 2-1 last season.

Indiana will look to add a ninth national championship next season. The Hoosiers fell to Saint Louis University in the second round of last season’s NCAA Tournament but have brought in eight transfers and five freshmen this offseason.
