Indiana men’s soccer brought in junior forward Stephane Njike, senior forward Oliver Moller-Jensen and graduate midfielder Westin Carnevale during the May transfer window to bring the Cream and Crimson up to a full 28-man squad for next season, per a release from Indiana Athletics on Friday.
The Hoosiers fell to Saint Louis University in the second round of last season’s NCAA Tournament but have turned to fresh legs and new faces in the transfer portal. Indiana added five players from the portal in January as part of the Hoosiers’ quest for a ninth national championship next season.
Njike headlines the additions, joining the Hoosiers after earning first-team All-Big Ten and the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region first-team honors at Maryland last season. The Paris native played at Marshall University and Long Island University before making a stop in College Park, Maryland.
The 5-foot-11 Njike totaled seven goals and seven assists last season, ranking second on the Terrapins in both categories. His production in 18 appearances helped lead to Njike’s selection in the third round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United.
Alongside Njike, Moller-Jensen will help the Hoosiers fill the hole left by the departure of forward Palmer Ault. Ault’s 16 goals ranked third in the country last season.
Moller-Jensen started all 18 matches for Florida Atlantic University last season, racking up six goals and leading the American Athletic Conference with six assists. The Atlanta native was named to the All-AAC second team last year. Moller-Jensen played two seasons with Boldklubben Frem in Denmark before moving to FAU.
The 5-foot-9 Moller-Jensen secured AAC All-Tournament Team honors after tallying two goals in a victory over the University of Tulsa in the semifinals. FAU defeated Florida International University in the American tournament championship before falling 3-2 to the University of Central Florida in the program’s first NCAA tournament appearance.
In the midfield, Carnevale joins Indiana after four seasons at Cornell University. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native scored six goals and had three assists on his way to earning first-team All-Ivy League honors last season.
Carnevale earned a bigger role each season at Cornell, culminating in him starting all 20 games for the Big Red last season. Cornell lost to Princeton University in the Ivy League tournament championship but defeated Lafayette College 4-0 in the first round of the NCAA tournament before falling to the University of Connecticut.
“We are excited to bring Wes, Oliver and Stephane to Indiana soccer and believe each player brings different strengths to our team,” Indiana head coach Todd Yeagley said in the press release. “Our attack is immediately bolstered with the high-end qualities Stephane and Oliver possess. Wes will bring toughness, range and versatility to our midfield. We are confident all three will make an immediate impact next fall.”
