Indiana football landed its second 2027 wide receiver recruit this week, as three-star Jordan Carrasquillo committed to the program Thursday, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Carrasquillo is the Hoosiers’ seventh pickup in the 2027 recruiting class.
Carrasquillo, an Alpharetta, Georgia, native, is rated as the No. 104 wide receiver in the 2027 class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Indiana first offered Carrasquillo in January 2025, and the receiver was present for the Hoosiers’ 31-7 victory over Wisconsin on Nov. 15, 2025.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver selected Indiana over Maryland, Wake Forest University and the University of Cincinnati.
After not having varsity playing time as a freshman in 2023 at Milton High School in Milton, Georgia, Carrasquillo saw the field as a sophomore. Across 16 receptions, he recorded 295 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2024.
The following year, Carrasquillo led his team with 33 catches, 586 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He also flashed big-play ability, recording 17.8 yards per reception in 2025.
With current receivers Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh projected as early-round selections in the 2027 NFL Draft, Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti is looking to the future. Carrasquillo joins Branden Sharpe as the Hoosiers’ two 2027 receiver commits.
