Indiana men’s basketball secured its sixth portal commitment in Villanova University transfer guard Bryce Lindsay, On3 reported Wednesday. Prior to his lone season at Villanova, Lindsay spent one year with James Madison University and one redshirt season with Texas A&M University.

In the 2025-26 season, Lindsay started in 31 games and played an average of 28.7 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-3 redshirt sophomore averaged 12.3 points per game and shot 35.6% from beyond the arc.

Lindsay led the Wildcats with 25 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Utah State University on March 20. He connected on 6-of-11 of his attempts from the 3-point line in the contest.

In his lone season at James Madison in 2024-25, Lindsay was named the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and the leagues Sixth Man of the Year. He averaged 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

Lindsay joins a newly assembled roster under head coach Darian DeVries, who is entering his second year at the helm. So far, the Hoosiers have brought in five other transfers, including forward Aiden Sherrell, center Samet Yiğitoğlu, and guards Jaeden MustafDarren Harris and Markus Burton.

The Hoosiers also bring in three freshmen — forwards Vaughn Karvala and Trevor Manhertz and guard Prince Alexander Moody — and return freshman forward Trent Sisley.
