With Halloween coming up, it is the perfect time to go out, dress up and listen to live music.
Monday
Bloomington Expressive Arts Training will hold its 14th annual fall show at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. BEAT is a preprofessional show choir program for students grades one-12. The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets will cost anywhere from $15.66 to $25.92 depending on which seats you get.
Tuesday
Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will perform at The Bluebird starting at 8 p.m. for ages 21 and up. Tickets for the show cost $32.64. Daniel Donato is a country musician known for blending other genres into his personal musical style.
Thursday
Jazz at the Vault will return to The Vault Pub in the Indiana Memorial Union from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and is free for all ages. Jacobs School of Music jazz studies students will perform classics from the great American songbook.
Friday
Live @ The Vault is also making its return to the Vault Pub patio in the IMU. The event is from 7-9 p.m. and is free for all ages. This week's performer is singer and songwriter Wayne Deaton, who plays a mix of covers from all genres of music and original songs.
Local cover band Welcome to The Neighborhood will play with Opal at The Bluebird at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $14.25 for the 21-and-older show.
The Blockhouse Bar will host a Halloween cover show featuring nine different cover bands highlighting music from a range of groups and musicians like The Smashing Pumpkins, Ozzy Ozbourne and Metallica. The 21-and-up show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets will cost $10 if bought in advance and $12 at the door.
Saturday
The Singing Hoosiers will host their annual fall concert at Auer Hall, with one performance at 2 p.m. and another following at 7:30 p.m. The upcoming show will mark their 75th anniversary, and tickets will cost $27 for the general public or $12 for students.
Country music trio The Castellows will play at The Bluebird at 8 p.m. for ages 21 and up as part of their ongoing tour. Tickets for the show cost $20.72.
