After a 10-month shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cardinal Stage is back with a new production for Bloomington audiences to enjoy. The musical “Ordinary Days” will stream online Feb. 11-21.

“Ordinary Days,” written by Adam Gwon, is a musical celebrating life’s sometimes overlooked little moments. The musical is a “sort-of-fairy tale” set in New York City, according to the Cardinal Stage website.

The production stars three IU Musical Theatre alumni — Nina Donville, Henry Miller and Kayla Marie Eilers. They will perform alongside Julian Diaz-Granados, who starred as Jack Kelly in “Newsies” at Cardinal Stage last year.

Marketing Manager Cassie Hakken said she enjoys the show because it's packed full of music and follows the lives of four charming characters.

“The show is truly uplifting and helps you to see the beauty in everyday things, something we all need a little help with right now,” Hakken said.

“Ordinary Days” will stream online and on-demand through ShowTix4U Feb. 11-21, and tickets are available for $20 per household at cardinalstage.org.
