Actor Jonathan Goldsmith doesn't always come to Bloomington. But when he does, he comes to Big Red Liquors at 418 North College Ave.
Goldsmith will be at the liquor store from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
"Come meet and take a picture with Jonathan Goldsmith at Big Red Liquors and discover what he actually prefers...Astral Tequila," Astral Tequila posted to its Facebook event page.
Goldsmith has been acting since the 1960s in television and movies. In the 1976 Western, "The Shootist," hero John Wayne shot Goldsmith's villainous character between the eyes.
From 2007 to 2015, Goldsmith was advertised as "Most Interesting Man in the World" in an advertisement campaign for Dos Equis beer.
The advertisements made Goldsmith a meme. In September 2016, Dos Equis replaced Goldsmith with French actor Augustin Legrand as "Most Interesting Man in the World."
In June 2017, Goldsmith began acting in advertisements for Astral Tequila.
