BPD recommends 'red flag law' to other states after Florida shooting
Central Indiana Gun Shows organizes a gun show Feb. 17 and 18 at the Monroe County Fairgrounds. Indiana's "red flag" gun law allows law enforcement to temporarily seize guns from people deemed a danger to themselves or others.

Gov. Holcomb signs key bills into law
Gov. Eric Holcomb signs Senate Bill 1, which legalizes carryout sales of alcohol on Sundays. Since the 2018 legislative session has ended, Holcomb has signed several bills into law, including one that would allow Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients to pursue and receive professional licenses.
