Bank robbery suspect remains at large

Bloomington Police are searching for a suspect who robbed Peoples State Bank at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Lt. John Kovach said suspect is believed to be a black male in his 30s with medium build, wearing blue jeans, black boots, a gold jersey, reading the number 28 and the name "Faulk." BPD Capt. Joe Qualters said the suspect was also wearing a camouflage hat.

The suspect entered the bank, located at 301 E. Winslow Road, and announced he had a weapon, Qualters said. However, a weapon was never displayed.

The suspect is believed to have fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, Qualters said.
