Big Ten housing conference ends

Big Ten housing officials will wrap up their annual meeting, held at IU this year, at noon today.\nEach campus in the Big Ten was invited to send a delegate in one of nine housing areas to attend the meeting. After the about 100 delegates arrived, they broke into groups including residence life, dining services, campus apartment systems, business operations, conference services, facilities, marketing, technology and single student operations.\nThe agenda for each day of discussion is based on questions that schools sent to IU back in August concerning various issues they want discussed.\n"It's great because if we at IU think that Michigan State is doing something really unique, then we can discuss it with them and find ways to implement the program on our campus," said Pat Connor, executive director of Residential Programs and Services.\nThe Big Ten Housing Officers Meeting rotates annually through each school in the Big Ten. The meeting began Monday evening.
