Teter team deserves more credit

Being an out-of-town alumnus, I look forward to reading the IDS after Little 500 each year. It extends the good memories a bit longer and helps keep me in contact with such a great event. This year was no different, and after attending the race I was excited when I saw the article about the Teter cycling team. I was interested in where they came from and how they got to the podium. However, once I read the article, I was extremely disappointed. These guys did something not many teams have done in the past and they deserve a great deal of credit. They were this year's Cinderella team and the IDS missed a chance at a great story. Instead, your writer and your editor turned the item into an editorial bashing the Cutters. If that is how you feel, bash away, but save it for the opinion page where it belongs. It is a bad piece of journalism and a disservice to the Teter cycling team.
