S is for success

Wyoming, beer and boredom

·

School districts across the country are facing budget cuts. And first on the chopping block are the after-school activities that provide students with outlets for their energy in safe and responsible environments. Despite their problems, after-school programs do entice students away from drugs, crime and general mayhem. Andre Agassi played his final professional match last weekend at the U.S. Open. It was sad to see such a remarkable tennis icon step off the court for the final time. But more than anything, I was moved by witnessing this last public chapter in Andre's amazing maturation from arrogant, aimless youth to selfless, philanthropic hero.
