An IU graduate student started a petition in the US for the British government to issue and apology to code cracker Alan Turning. Turning broke the German enigma code, but was jailed for being homosexual.

IU Foundation elects new board members, vice chair

The IU Foundation has elected two IU trustees to its board of directors. Harry Gonso, an Indianapolis lawyer, was elected the vice chair.IU trustee President William Cast and trustee Tom Reilly are now on the board, according to an IU press release.

Professor to study risky behavior with science grant

The National Institutes of Health awarded a two-year, $683,736 grant to study risky behavior and the brain to Joshua Brown, assistant professor in the IU Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences.

The lender, Art Capital Group, sued Leibovitz in July claiming she breached an agreement that authorized it to act as the agent in the sale of her photography and real estate.
