Thirty-three men’s teams will take the track 2 p.m. Saturday at Bill Armstrong Stadium for a shot at etching their names on the BorgWarner Trophy as Little 500 champions.
The 26th annual running of the women’s Little 500 will take place at 4 p.m. Friday on the track at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
The Hoosiers will travel to West Lafayette this Saturday for the Boilermaker Invitational, an event in which they are defending champions. This weekend will be the final regular-season opportunity for the Hoosiers to ensure a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
This week, IU will square off against 19 squads from across the country, featuring eight of the top 20 teams in the nation.
The IU track and field team’s first home meet of the season will take place Saturday when the Hoosiers compete against several schools for the Polytan Invitational at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex.
