IU senior transfer wins heptathlon in Texas Relays

It didn’t take long for senior Abbie Stechschulte to make her mark on IU. Stechschulte, who suited up for the Hoosiers for the first time in competition, was the collegiate heptathlon champion in the 81st running of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays this past weekend.

Hoosiers turn to ‘Big Play Ray’

Ray Fisher’s time has come. In high school, the wide receiver played with current NFL player and former Ohio State star Ted Ginn Jr. In his first two years as a Hoosier, he played alongside IU record-holder James Hardy.

It’s official: Eric Gordon is going to the NBA. Gordon announced his intentions to enter the NBA draft during a press conference Monday at the Jewish Community Center in Indianapolis.

Teter, Cutters win Team Pursuit

Teter and Cutters both triumphed in Saturday's Team Pursuit competition. Heading into this weekend’s Team Pursuit competition, both Teter and Cutters had large leads in the overall standings based on their individual performances. Hoosiers can’t beat Badgers

Despite grabbing its 15th doubles point of the season, the No. 39 IU men’s tennis team (13-6, 3-3) lost a 4-3 decision to No. 35 Wisconsin Saturday. The Hoosiers also earned a 5-2 victory over Northwestern Sunday.

Perfect Big Ten record falls in Evanston

It was a lopsided weekend for the IU women’s tennis team. The No. 28 Hoosiers traveled to Wisconsin, where they defeated the Badgers 7-0, marking their fifth consecutive Big Ten victory.

Tournament ends in 1-0 win, 1-1 tie for IU

The Hoosiers continued their spring winning trend by tallying another victory and another tie in this weekend’s Bucks College Cup Tournament. The Hoosiers tied Oakland 1-1 before outlasting Big Ten rival Michigan in a 1-0 contest later in the day.
