Be not afraid of guns

The argument that guns should be regulated because they are nothing more than instruments solely made for killing runs face-first into an inherent logical flaw. Two-handed swords like claymores or zweihanders are made with the express intent of killing, yet there is not nearly as much controversy over the possession or distribution of these implements.

I submit that the NRA, just like every other large organization that is powered by corporate interests, cares more about the opinions of gun manufacturers and its big-money donors than it does about those of its members.
