Exhibition match ends in tie for IU, Louisville

The spring exhibition season is usually a time to play a few casual games in the warm breeze. But in Tuesday night’s match against Louisville, the breeze was frigid and the game was anything but casual. The teams went into overtime, but the game ultimately ended in a 1-1 tie.

Crean will have to start from scratch

INPIRG hosts debate between campus Democrats, Republicans

In an evening that mostly highlighted the differences between the platforms of the nation’s two biggest political parties, there was at least one thing on which both sides could agree: the most important thing for the country to focus on now is what comes next. IU players comment on new coach

Several IU men's basketball players commented to IDS reporters while playing a game of pick-up basketball Tuesday night at the HYPER. Jamarcus Ellis wants to be a Hoosier. And apparently, that’s been the story the entire time. Scheduling screw-ups

The IU administration is thinking about implementing two things not many of us want to happen: more classes at 8 a.m. and more classes on Fridays. But why would IU do this to us ... aren’t rising tuition prices enough? Well, according to the administration, the blame for this falls right on our shoulders.

The fall of Cuban communism?

Shortly after Fidel Castro stepped down as president of Cuba in February, ending a reign that began in 1959, his brother Raul was elected as his successor. Since Raul was preferred by Fidel to take that position, it was widely speculated that Fidel’s departure wouldn’t bring any significant changes to Cuban domestic or foreign policy.

Liberalism run amok
