Hoosiers host Big Tens

The Hoosiers look to be a force to be reckoned with this weekend at Robert C. Haugh Complex, where they will host this year’s conference championship, especially after the women’s team moved into the Division I top-25 rankings, up 12 spots from their previous rank of 34th. The team’s change in ranking is mainly a result of their success at Billy Hayes Invitational last week, where the men’s and women’s teams combined to win seven events.

Rocks thrown at Chow Bar

Manager Judy Pan and her employees found two rocks thrown through the glass window of the Chow Bar restaurant — located at 216 S. Indiana Ave. — at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.


Dalai Lama presents Heart Sutra at IU Auditorium

The Dalai Lama is in Bloomington through Thursday, giving three public teachings. The events are ticketed. He will be at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Friday to give a public talk. Tickets for the Indianapolis event cost $25.
