Gun law leads to lawsuits in Evansville, Hammond

In a newly enacted law in Indiana, cities throughout the state are unable to enact or enforce laws imposing firearm restrictions on most city properties. However, numerous cities across the state currently have regulations in violation of this statute.

Student found dead in Read Center

An 18-year-old male student was found dead at about 6 p.m. Wednesday in his dorm room on Beck 5 of Read Center.  IU Police Department Chief Keith Cash said there were no signs of foul play and at this time a name cannot be released.
