It’s that time of year again: my grandma’s “pretty-much-fat-free” spinach pasta time. My grandmother, Nonna Shari Tepper-Mayes, has spent her life between Rome, Detroit and Chicago. She has cooked on granite countertops everywhere, always with her recipes by her side.

The Jazz Fables Quintet is a continuous musical project founded and maintained by jazz artist David Miller.  The Jazz Fables Concert Series at Bear’s Place started in 1989 and has remained a popular fixture for Bloomington jazz fans ever since.

Gun law leads to lawsuits in Evansville, Hammond

In a newly enacted law in Indiana, cities throughout the state are unable to enact or enforce laws imposing firearm restrictions on most city properties. However, numerous cities across the state currently have regulations in violation of this statute.

IU Counseling and Psychological Services in coordination with Student Life and Learning, the Student Academic Center, Recreational Sports, IU Health and Wellness and Career Development sponsors the 2011 Student Success Seminar Series. The eight-week-long series takes place from noon to 1 p.m. every Tuesday.
