IU School of Medicine gets $8.5 million grant to update Riley Hospital for Children

The IU School of Medicine has received a federal grant from the National Institutes of Health for nearly $8.5 million. This will allow a floor of the Riley Hospital for Children, the hospital that benefits from IU Dance Marathon, to become a state-of-the-art facility for pediatric clinical research.

‘Blogging to show IU’s true colors’

“Painting the Bridge: Blogging to show IU’s true colors” was added to the website in December and features blog posts by eight students and several staff members, which are posted under categories such as “academics,” “arts,” “athletics,” “exams” and “travel.” The blog’s theme and title is based on the Jordan Avenue bridges that are painted by IU students to promote events and community involvement.
