Arrested Cleveland bridge bomb plot suspect tells FBI informant he is from Bloomington

Five self-proclaimed anarchists were arrested and accused Tuesday of conspiring to blow up a bridge near Cleveland to send a message of dissatisfaction to corporate America and the United States government. One of the men told a confidential informant with the Federal Bureau of Investigation that he was from the Bloomington area.
Journalism dean named dean at Northwestern University

IUPD arrest 3 on felony drug charges during traffic stop

Three Indianapolis residents were arrested Wednesday after an Indiana University Police Department officer conducting a routine traffic stop found more than two pounds of marijuana, Xanax pills, Spice, cash and guns in the vehicle.

Police responded to an Occupy Bloomington event Tuesday morning after receiving a complaint at 8:03 a.m. that protesters had erected an Army surplus tent on a city-owned lot near the B-Line Trail between 10th and 11th streets.
