Female reports on-campus assault, suspect identified

The suspect in a reported on-campus assault of an IU female employee has been identified, and the female employee does not wish to purse charges, IU Police Chief Keith Cash said in an email.

Man arrested for molesting great-granddaughter

Ralph Maners, 68, was booked into the Monroe County Jail at about 7 p.m. Wednesday after Bloomington Police Detective Sgt. John Kovach said Maners confessed to the crime. He faces a preliminary charge of child molestation, a Class A felony.
