Jacobs School of Music installs world-class organ

The 10-month process of installation and tuning the new Maidee H. and Jackson A. Seward Organ began this week. 20 tons of equipment arrived from Gloucester, Mass., including 3,963 pipes, for construction to begin on the $2 million music machine.

Chamber Players to pair for festival performance

The Summer Music Festival’s fourth performance will feature the Festival Chamber Players performing “An Evening of Sonatas” at 8 p.m., June 26, in the Recital Hall. Tickets are $12 for regular admission and $6 for students.
