Health care bill brings higher taxes on tanning services

Some tanning salons have begun to feel burnt by a new tax. The federal government implemented a 10 percent excise tax on indoor tanning services on July 1 in order to help pay for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which was signed into law on March 23.

Young women's soccer team aim for higher goals

Preparation for the 2010 season, the IU women’s soccer team started doing work even before training camp kicked off. Last season, IU finished with a 10-7-2 record and did not appear in the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers highlighted the season with a 6-0-0 start, during which they upset No. 6 Florida.
