Free-market economist discusses financial recovery

Thomas E. Woods, free-market economist and historian, gives a speech titled “The Economic Crisis: Why, How and What Now?” Tuesday in the Whittenberger Auditorium of the Indiana Memorial Union. IU’s chapter of Young American’s for Liberty sponsored the event, which was free and open to the public.

During the lecture, the New York Times best-selling author discussed the economic and political reasons for the recent economic collapse, how the Obama administration has made the situation worse and how to fix the problems. The speech was followed by a question and answer session.
