The No. 44 IU women’s tennis team went 2-1 at home this weekend, losing 7-0 to No. 6 Duke on Friday before posting wins Sunday against Butler and Memphis.

IU wins Big Red Shootout in season opener

More than 1,000 miles away from blustery Bloomington where snowflakes fell by the inches, the IU men’s golf team began its spring season Saturday by defeating Ball State in the Big Red Shootout at Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, Fla.

Column: Injuries aren’t the only explanation for loss

In one sense, it could be easy to accept IU’s 64-63 loss to Iowa. It’s injuries. It’s, for whatever reason, a bad matchup. It’s a hard-fought one-point loss. As IU coach Tom Crean said after the game, this team is lacking warm bodies for practice time.

A woman was arrested on theft and prostitution charges Saturday morning after the man she said she agreed to have sex with accused her of stealing his phone.

MCPL reveals green Bookmobile

Monroe County Public Library's new energy-efficient Bookmobile, which is a small version of the public library on wheels, was unveiled to residents Friday, and will be celebrated at all its stops through Thursday, Feb. 10.
