For the first time in at least four decades, a sitting IU president traveled to India to increase study abroad opportunities for IU students, promote IU as an ideal location for foreign exchange and forge business partnerships.

Bloomington police found nine dogs, seven puppies and three cats living in a one-story house without water or electricity Sunday.

Storytellers Guild tell soul-fulfilling tales

As part of the 35th annual Forth Street Festival, the Bloomington Storytellers Guild touted tales to curious college students, agile children and tie-dye clad adults on Saturday. They wove messages from urban legends and mythical tales into theatrical narratives.
