New Orleans might be called the “Big Easy,” but nothing came easy for the IU baseball team this weekend when they were swept by the Tulane Green Wave in three excruciatingly close games (3-2, 9-8, 6-2).

IU ROTC members fight for German Armed Forces Badge

There was no crowd cheering and no Big Ten championship to claim. They weren’t even wearing cream and crimson. But during the weekend, a team of 11 Army Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets slipped into uniform to defend their Hoosier pride in the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency competition.

On Saturday, the IU Swing Dance Club partnered with the Boilermaker Jazz Band for the annual Big Red Swing Weekend. The weekend featured dance lessons and live music — and couples jumped and jived to this old-time sound.
