Arts and humanities to gain more emphasis across fields of study

The strategic plan draft includes the creation of an arts and humanities center, expanded course offerings aimed at international students and the integration of arts and humanities resources such as the IU Cinema, IU Art Museum and other performance venues and galleries into courses across campus.

Smith moves on from IU basketball

Smith spent more than two seasons on the IU men’s basketball team as a walk-on. A native of South Bend, Ind., Smith played basketball and ran track in high school. He received a few offers to play basketball collegiately, but none from any Division I schools.

IU Cinema to show short films for disability awareness

In recognition of Disability Awareness Month, IU Cinema teamed up with Stone Belt Arc and the Sprout Film Festival for the Sprout Shorts Program, a short film program relating to the field of developmental disabilities. The free event will take place at 7 p.m. tonight at IU Cinema.
