There is a misconception surrounding several fashion trends, stating that unless you look like supermodel Gisele Bundchen or are made of plastic and stand in a store’s display window, certain items should never make it on to your body. While models make clothes seem as appealing as possible, that does not mean they are the only people who can look fabulous in them. All bitterness toward the genetically gifted aside, some slight alterations and additions take tricky trends from off-limits to good-to-go.

On Saturday,local jazz pianist Craig Brenner, along with his band the Crawdads and several other friends, proved that at their “Dance to Live, Live to Love” benefit concert at the Bloomington Monroe County Convention Center supporting Bloomington’s Art of Mental Health Week. The band also celebrated the release of their new CD, “Live to Love.”
