Field hockey earns weekend sweep

The Hoosiers claimed victories against Iowa and Villanova during the weekend. IU Athletics Director Fred Glass attended Friday's game against the Hawkeyes wearing a kilt.

Women's soccer loses sixth straight

Playing against Michigan on Sunday after a 10-day break, the Hoosiers lost their sixth straight Big Ten contest, falling 2-1 to the Wolverines.

Purdue’s Hummel out for season with torn ACL

Purdue senior forward Robbie Hummel will miss the 2010-11 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament – the same injury that sidelined him for the end of last season.

Men's soccer defeats Michigan 2-1

A corner kick put back by junior midfielder Alec Purdie and a header by sophomore midfielder Caleb Konstanski made the difference in a 2-1 victory against No. 25 Michigan Saturday night.

Women's soccer returns to the field after 10-day rest

IU women’s soccer team will be back at Bill Armstrong Stadium for another Big Ten competition after a 10-day break. The Hoosiers (4-9-1) will play host to Michigan on Sunday, a team who is also seeking for its first Big Ten win this season.
