With credit to their fourth quarter performance, the Hoosiers (3-5, 1-3) won their first Big Ten game of the year 31-17 over Illinois (2-6, 0-4) on its homecoming game in Champaign.

Police impersonator may be patrolling Bloomington

On Friday at about 3:45 a.m., a man told Bloomington police he was sitting in his car in the parking lot of Varsity Gate apartments picking up his girlfriend when a male exited a model police car, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria.

A Muncie  native, former Hoosier swimmer Lary Schulhof is one of seven honorees who will be inducted into the IU Athletics Hall of Fame at its annual dinner Nov. 2.

About 400 more dancers will participate this year compared to the 2011 marathon, IUDM President Julie Troyer said. IUDM has also recruited about 250 additional committee members this year.

Voters speak on the air about political stances

WHTR Indianapolis Channel 13 Eyewitness News anchors and reporters made their 10th stop of 11 since August in “Decision 2012 On the Road,” a program in which they traveled across central Indiana to talk to voters about issues that are important to them. For the most part, people are concerned about the economy and jobs, Eyewitness News anchor Andrea Morehead said.
