Fans can meet Hanson through ‘The Walk’

Hanson, a trio of brothers who have been playing music since their childhood, will be welcomed to Bloomington for the second time since 2005, but this time with a new purpose. Before Thursday night’s performance at The Bluebird, 216 N. Walnut St., they will lead “The Walk.”

PJs in public?

When I wake up in the morning, I am excited to get dressed. As I scrub my hair in the shower and apply my makeup, I think about what I am going to wear. Most days, with the exception of the occasional fat day or the more frequent oh-my-God-I-have-nothing-to-wear day, I look forward to shedding my pajamas and getting ready to face the world looking my best (or at least looking decent).

BOLOGNA, Italy– Venice is one of those cities that you must see before you die. I spent last weekend in the “city of bridges,” and if I die tomorrow, I will have a smile on my face. It was truly one of the best trips of my life.

Nobel laureate Guenter Grass files lawsuit

BERLIN – Nobel laureate Guenter Grass has filed a lawsuit against the publisher of his biography for claiming that he voluntarily joined the Nazis’ murderous Waffen-SS unit during World War II, his lawyer said Friday.

Photo students display work from Japan trip

Last summer, 11 IU undergraduates, graduate students and professors traveled thousands of miles to Osaka, Japan, with one thing on their minds: communication. The group of Americans aimed to capture “communication” in photographic form, and they only had four weeks to do it.
