After starting out the season a pedestrian 2-2, Indiana men’s tennis has fired off seven wins in a row following an undefeated weekend. The Hoosiers’ 9-2 record marks their best start since schedules were recorded on iuhoosiers.com in 2016.

Walking through IU’s Old Crescent near the Sample Gates, one notices that most of the buildings are made out of Indiana limestone. Buildings such as Franklin Hall, Lindley Hall and the Student Building, for example, each share a distinctive pale coloring. However, two stand out: Wylie and Own Halls, both of which are made out of red brick. One would be forgiven if they wondered just why this is the case.

IU was founded over 200 years ago and in that time, the campus has accumulated its fair share of legends about Hoosier hauntings. It isn’t hard to find someone on campus with a ghost story. Many dorms, fraternities and classroom buildings have spooky tales and scary ghost sightings.

Nate Powell promoted “Fall Through” at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 9 in Morganstern’s Bookstore and Café, explained his creative process and signed copies of his books. “Fall Through” is the story of a time-travelling punk rock band — inspired by Powell’s punk rock past — who jump between realities when they play a specific song.

“Jesus Christ Superstar,” a musical created by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award-winning composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and playwright Tim Rice will be performed at 7:30 p.m, Feb. 19 - 20 in the IU Auditorium. The two-night run in Bloomington is one stop in their 50th anniversary North American tour.

Indiana softball traveled down to Clearwater, Florida, for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Leadoff Classic to start Team 51’s season. The Hoosiers went 4-1 with one loss due to a tight battle against No. 5 Clemson University.
