Pandora Celtica; Bear's Place

Monday, 9 PM

In the tradition of high fantasy/faerie Celtic music, few bands can quite measure up to Pandora Celtica. These five acapella performers also double as dark faerie role players complete with medieval tunics and names like ShadowCat and Rubiee. Except for the fact that they can sing the hell out of any ditty, be it love ballad or a drinking tune, they're the kind of strange folk you could see at any traditional renaissance festival, or maybe roaming the Elder Scrolls fantasy world. They're also, coincidentally, the kind of folk you can see tonight playing back-to-back shows at Rachael's Cafe and Bear's Place. We've got a month until Saint Patrick's Day, but there's no reason to put off putting on your Irish.
