Mobley; Bear's Place

Wednesday, 8 PM

There's definitely something sensual about Mobley. You could argue that it's the cool jazz swing of their beats coupled with the sway of the powerful (and provocative) lyrics. You could also argue that it's because Anthony Watkins II and Tim Shelburne, passionate, a bit edgy, gazing wistfully away from the camera, look like they were pulled straight from a hipster's GQ. After tearing up the prestigious South by Southwest last year, Mobley will be stopping on by Bear's Place tomorrow night to promote their newest album "Young Adult Fiction," and, presumably, to tear that up as well.
