Steven and the Savvy; Rachael's Cafe

For some quality, local music this weekend, look no further than Rachael's Cafe. The venue will be featuring the artists Banquet Years, Evan Slusher, as well as Steven and the Savvy--a collection of soulful Bloomington performers. Vocalist Steven Dunn's "soulful" lyrics combine well with his country timbre particularly well in the track "Rain Dancing," which conjures a winter warmth. In "Summertime," Steven's lilting vocals, a soft repetitive acoustic, and an undercurrent of deep cello demonstrates the bands' ability to build atmosphere.
