I admit to being something of a fantastic book freak, and so it comes to no surprise when I say that I was originally attracted to these fellows due to my pedantic love for James Joyce and the fact that this outfit takes its name from his 'Dubliners'. It should go said however that these lads are pretty damn good musicians. Strong riffs, garage-punk blasts of moaning vocals that can groan before fluttering effortlessly to skim the margins of controlled, melodic screams. These boys released the alternative rock album "The Bloom and the Blight" (no literary references found yet) about a couple weeks ago, and you can purchase it for a steal on iTunes! Although it'd be easier to just see 'em live tomorrow at the Bishop.
