Cherub @ The Bishop

$10.00 at the door

The members of Cherub could almost be wholesome boys; when you click on their website you see Jordan Kelly and Jason Huber grinning into the colour streaked-skies (presumably, their skies of promise and ambition?). Then you click over to their bio page and start reading about their hi-octane action-driven performances, their promises to share a little bit of sex and drugs with the world, while the background images scroll to an image of the musicians with bloodied noses holding a Jason hockey mask, and another with one member holding a magnum to the others' head. You have no idea what to expect from Cherub, even when their electro-punk, jolting soul drones invade your ears. Better just to play it safe and see them at the Bishop.
