Elizabeth Morris, London-based songwriter, is the brainchild of Allo Darlin'. After purchasing a ukulele she was inspired and began creating the music that many know and love today. While Morris has been making music under various pseudonyms since 2007, it wasn't until she began playing with Paul Rains, Bill Botting and Michael Collins that Allo Darlin' was properly formed. One thing is certain: this quintet knows how to make pop music without being excessively sugary. They remind me of Headlights or The Submarines if either of those bands had a british singer. It should definitely be a fun show, that's perfect for the summertime so come check it out.
