I was reading "Fargo Rock City" by Chuck Klosterman today, which is pretty good so far. In the book he mentions an episode of VH1's Behind the Music. Subsequently, I began to think about how sad it is that over the past few years, VH1 has increasingly been eaten up "reality" television. It made me nostalgic for shows like Behind the Music and Pop Up Video, no matter how silly they may have been at times.
So, when I stumbled across an article on AV Club tonight, I became pleasantly surprised. Aparentally, VH1 is going to bring back Behind the Music this summer with episodes featuring 'Lil Wayne and Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland.
Kinda sweet. May my faith in television be temporarily restored...not that I can afford cable.
