After the hardcore revelry of Slam Dunk at the Cinemat last night, the folks in the crowd were informed that an hour intermission must be taken before the rock could continue. A comedy club recently opened above the Cinemat, and think the jams were disrupting them.
I feel like because it was Christian Fennigan of Best Week Ever, though.. he could have used the downstairs show as part of his act. Who knows! I enjoyed the intermission cuz I got to chill with my friend for a while.
Once I returned to the Cinemat, the building was pounding and most people had their ear plugs on due to the sounds of WHITE MICE.
An Albatross were cool dudes who were talking to everyone before and during their set. They even gave shout out to Racebannon, who were supposed to be playing that night as well?
Pretty sure they've played a lot bigger shows than the Cinemat before, but they treated everyone real nice and the kids were quite happy. Had to peak out early due to severe exhaustion, and my ears are still ringing.
